The Bard at the Beach

Okay, so I didn't actually read Shakespeare at the beach, but I did read a book that incorporated lines from Shakespeare! The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown centers on three sisters, born of a father who is a professor of Shakespearean poetry, who often communicate their thoughts through lines from various Shakespearean plays. It was not a bad read, but not my favorite either. While the plot was cute (though highly predictable), the extensive allusions to Shakespeare felt too contrived. Pick it up if you need a quick summer read, but not if you are looking for a dose of the bard...
